Nemani Swathi, MD

Hospitalist

Dr. Nemani was born in India and grew up in Tampa, Florida. She received her Bachelors of Science from Manipal University in India and her Medical Doctorate degree from Aureus University. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, where she also served as Chief Resident. She is board certified in internal medicine and worked as a hospitalist at Kaiser Mid-Atlantic Group in Baltimore prior moving to Denver with her husband. She worked as a hospitalist at Colorado Kaiser Permanente and then joined ACUTE full-time in 2023. She enjoys working in the collaborative and supportive atmosphere at ACUTE. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.

ACUTE Earns Prestigious Center of Excellence Designation from Anthem
In 2018, the ACUTE Center for Eating Disorders & Severe Malnutrition at Denver Health was honored by Anthem Health as a Center of Excellence for Medical Treatment of Severe and Extreme Eating Disorders. ACUTE is the first medical unit ever to achieve this designation in the field of eating disorders. It comes after a rigorous review process.
